The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam includes questions on current affairs and general knowledge. As of May 2023, some of the major current affairs topics that may be covered include the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, international relations and geopolitics, environmental issues, and recent developments in science and technology. Candidates are advised to stay updated on these and other important news events to perform well on this section of the exam.
CLAT Exam Eligibility for UG Courses
The CLAT Eligibility for UG (undergraduate) course is divided into two parts as follows.
- Candidates must have secured 45% marks in aggregate or its equivalent in their 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
- Candidates belonging to the reserved categories must have secured 40% aggregate or its equivalent.
Candidates who are Indian Nationals/NRIs/PIO/OCI are eligible to appear for CLAT 2024
